Lil' Bit Batty Sew-a-Long Class Description

Join us for a fun, hands-on two-session Sew-a-Long as we create the festive "Lil' Bit Batty" quilt by Tucker University! You'll learn precision piecing techniques using Deb Tucker's specialty rulers while sewing alongside fellow quilters in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Day 1 – Half-Square Triangles

We'll begin by making the quilt's half-square triangle units that form the foundation of the design. You'll learn efficient cutting, trimming, and piecing techniques using the Tucker Trimmer III to create perfectly sized, accurate units for crisp points and easy assembly.

Day 2 – Center Star & Bats

On our second day, you'll learn how to use the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star Tool to create the beautiful center star and piece the whimsical bat blocks that make this quilt so unique. You'll gain confidence using Deb Tucker's innovative techniques to achieve precise, accurate results with ease.

This class is perfect for quilters with basic rotary cutting and piecing skills who want to build confidence using Tucker Tools while creating a beautiful seasonal quilt.

Skill Level:	Intermediate
Skill Details:	Must be proficient in Rotary Cutting and Piecing skills; must have some knowledge of Studio 180 tools (Deb Tucker). This is NOT a beginner class.
Materials Included:	none
Requirements:	Lil' Bit Batty Kit; Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star Tool; Tucker Trimmer III; working sewing machine and quarter inch foot (do not use scant quarter inch foot); rotary cutter with fresh blades; rulers that you normally use for your quilting/piecing (6 x 24) etc.; fabric marker/pencil; pins; thread that blends well (gray/taupe) for piecing.
