| Instructor Bio: | Bette Jacob, of Fredericksburg, Texas, is an accomplished quilter and teacher with 40 years of experience. Seeing a quilt in an antique store that she could not afford to purchase, Bette began her quilting journey to duplicate that Log Cabin quilt in the Barn Raising pattern. This started Bette on her quilting journey which included taking classes, becoming an accomplished appliquer, and teacher (community education, retreats, and quilt shops). Bette became certified in the Laura Heine Collage method two years ago and is now teaching at quilt shops, retreats, and guilds. Bette loves scrappy quilts, color theory, applique', collage, string quilts, and traditional/Civil War quilts, along with Postage Stamp quilts, paper piecing, and Crazy quilts. We are delighted to have Bette come to our shop our teach the Laura Heine Collage technique to you. |
