Adult Basic Sewing - Quilts

Are you struggling or just need clarification of the instructions to work through your quilting project?   Or maybe you just don’t know where to begin. The SIF team can assist you through the quilter’s fog. 

TEAM SIF has lots of tips, tricks, and techniques for you to employ to ensure the completion of your project is accomplished.

Bring your pattern and project to receive guidance and instructions on cutting or sewing your quilting project.

Class Day Set-up begins at 9:30am with sessions starting promptly at 10am.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: * Beginner to Experienced - Minimum Basic Sewing Skills Required: * Ability to thread a bobbin * Ability to thread a sewing machine * Have experience or are familiar with operating a sewing machine.
Requirements: A Sewing Machine Is Required: If you are using your own sewing machine it must be in good working order, and, having the manual for your machine in class will be helpful to you and the instructor. If you need to be provided a sewing machine, please let us know in advance. There is a $5 cash fee for use of a shop machine during each class. Additional Requirements/Materials: A Project of your choice - Examples: Table Topper, Table Runner, Place Mats Fabrics, Thread, Any special Notions or tools as indicated in the project pattern envelop or printed downloaded instructions. Call the shop or stop in with your pattern or instructions for assistance as needed prior to the class date to confirm appropriate selections so you can get started right away on class day. :)
