Adult Basic Sewing - Garment
These ABS Garment sessions will assist/guide/help with the making of a fitting muslin; fit adjustments; installing sleeves; zippers; pockets; facings and collars.
Additionally, you will be guided through the reading & understanding of pattern details and instructions.
We will introduce garment construction tips and polished finishing techniques, including the great benefits of the ELNA 864 Air Serger and ELNA CoverMAX machines.
Class Day Set-up begins at 9:30am with sessions starting promptly at 10am.

| Requirements: | A Sewing Machine Is Required: If you are using your own sewing machine it must be in good working order, and, having the manual for your machine in class will be helpful to you and the instructor. If you need to be provided a sewing machine, please let us know in advance. There is a $5 cash fee for use of a shop machine during each class. Additional Requirements/Materials: A Project of your choice - Examples: Camp Shirt, Walking Shorts, T-shirt, Robe, PJ?s Fabrics, Thread, Any special Notions or tools as indicated in the project pattern envelop or printed downloaded instructions. Call the shop or stop in with your pattern or instructions for assistance as needed prior to the class date to confirm appropriate selections so you can get started right away on class day. :) |
