Beginner 1 Free Motion Quilting Workshop with Teri Lucas
This class is for anyone interested in learning to Free Motion quilting or to expand your skills to the next level. Teri will teach you to let go of all your inhibitions using her personal tips and techniques to take you into the world of Free Motion Quilting.
This is Class 1 and covers the basics: burying the thread, stitch in the ditch, straight lines, curves, and feathers. Also, pairing thread weight, adjusting tension, and shoving a queen size quilt into a 6" harp.

| Instructor Bio: | Teri Lucas, TerifiCreations, describes herself as an "accidental free motion quilter", which she became after hand quilting a project for several years and "just wanting it done". She offers quilters the information they need to do the free motion quilting they want. She has written for several publications including Modern Patchwork, Generation Q, and Quilting Arts. Her book, Color, Thread, & Free Motion Quilting (which you will use in her classes), was published in 2020. She has taught classes with American Quilters Society, Quilts, Inc., Road to California, as well as various Quilt Guilds and Quilt Shops. We welcome Teri back to Sew It Fabulous to offer you her knowledge and expertise in the art of free motion quilting. |
